Permanent Mobility Disability

Mobility impairment refers to the inability of a person to use one or more of his/her extremities, or a lack of strength to walk, grasp, or lift objects. The use of a wheelchair, crutches, or a walker may be utilized to aid in mobility. Mobility impairment may be caused by a number of factors, such as disease, an accident, or a congenital disorder and may be the result from neuro-muscular and orthopedic impairments.

The scholarship will be open to any student attending college/vocational school

We will follow a standard application process for student scholarships with a specific essay topic that will be a minimum of 3 pages and an integral part of the selection process.
“What does it mean to you to be part of both the LGBT and Disabled communities?”

This Scholarship will be under the non profit organization of The Imperial Court de San Diego. Since its inception in 1979, the scholarship program has given over $185,000.
