A Family Under Fire
Homeowners Dan and Stacey Dosier, in addition their youngest son, were all enjoying the Super Bowl at a friend’s house this past weekend. During the game they received word from one of their sons that their family home was engulfed in flames. The Dosiers rushed home to find their normally quiet street lined with fire trucks and emergency personnel fighting the blaze. Thankfully, their son managed to escape the fire with their family dog. However, the home was a total loss; leaving the family homeless and without basic necessities.
A family with only the clothes on their backs, needs community support. Friends and neighbors have opened their homes to this displaced, but resilient family. When the Dosiers inquired to their children about what they “needed” the parents were awestruck by their children’s tough nature and simplicity. They did not ask for toys or things kids desire but rather just a bed to sleep in.
This family, while tenacious, is a selfless team and are active member in the Clarksville and Fort Campbell community. Since the fire took their home they have asked for nothing. Thus, we come together to ask for community support for them.
Simple things items used on a daily basis without a second thought, this family now is now lacking. Aid of monetary donations will go towards rebuilding normal everyday life for the Dosiers. Items such as food, toiletries, toys, school supplies, and clothes are also imperative as we lend a hand to a family in need.
This family deserves our support! Resilient as such, does not mean they need to do it alone. We can't save the memories stolen in the flames but we can come together to create new intangible moments that will lay foundation for a family to be rebuilt. They have served our communities, now they need us to serve them.
