Haylee's Medical Expenses

My baby, Haylee, was hospitalized on July 30 for uncontrollable grand mal seizures lasting for 6 hours.  She was placed on a ventilator and put into a coma-like state for 6 days. She developed pneumonia during this time and has been fed via feeding tube with constant IV of antibiotics being infused.  13 days later she is doing so much better.  Finally off the feeding tube and IVs. However she is learning how to feed herself, pull herself into a sitting position and walk again.  She will be leaving the hospital within the next 24 hours followed  by intense physical, occupational and speech therapy.  During this time, I have been with her constantly and have not been able to work during these past 2 weeks and  have at least 2 more weeks to be at home 24/7 with her. Home health care will be assisting some time.  This situation was 100% brought on by a combination of an insurance company, a pharmacy and a neurologist consistantly dropping the ball and failing to do their due for 10 days in refilling 2 of Haylee's seizure medications.  For those of you who really know me, this will not go without being dealt with by the wrath of a very angry mom.  So if anyone can or wants to help to defray any of the expenses from this ordeal, please do.  If not, I can live the rest of my life knowing what amazing people I have in my life.
