Stormy's Medical Fund

News Story
Stormy and his buddy Zippy escaped from their paddock and were found near a busy street in West Omaha. Unfortunately Stormy was hit by a vehicle  and the driver didn't stop to offer aid. Other motorist did and his owners were notified. His owners along with Lusco Farms Donkey Rescue transported him 3 hours to Kansas State University where his injuries were assesed On Monday 9/18/17.
Stormy has a fractured skull and jaw bone. He also has swelling around his brain which is causing his left side to remain less responsive. His eye is closed on the left side. Vets are hoping that the swelling will reduce and he will make a full recovery.
He will remain at K-State most of the week to see if they can get him to eat and drink. Stormy is in the best possible care but it is expensive. No pet owner wants to see their loving pets get injuried. We are raising funds for Stormy's medical expenses. Just to start treatment it was $1800 dollars. The longer Stormy stays at K-state the more it will cost.
The good news is the vets think he can make a full recovery as long as we get past the next 24 to 48 hours without any setbacks. Zippy is by his buddy's side and has been since the accident happened.
Can you and will you help us help Stormy? All proceeds go to  the transportation cost and medical expense for Stormy.  We want his adoptive family to focus on loving and caring for him not the unexpected expense of paying for such a tragic event.
