Dawn was diagnosed with Large B Cell Lymphoma on January 9th and began chemo treatment on January 11th. Yes, you read that right.
Because of the size of her tumor and the rapid spread of the lymphoma, two days after her official diagnosis, Dawn began her fight.
The type of chemo that she needs requires that she be inpatient for the duration of the treatment, 5 days at a time. Then 15 days later she has to do it all over again. She has to do this FIVE. MORE. TIMES, ending her treatment hopefully in April.
Dawn is a warrior, plain and simple, but this unexpected diagnosis and speed to start treatment has left her and her family little time to plan for the financial burdens that will accumulate while she kicking cancer's butt and unable to return to work.
That's where you come in.
The last thing Dawn needs to do while she's focused on healing is stress about bills, so we're asking you to search under your couch cushions, in the cupholders of your car, heck, even your kid's piggy bank, and contribute anything you can to make this difficult time a little less difficult.
