My dear friend, Danielle, is a co-worker of mine. I have been working with her for about 3 years and consider her family. She is an amazing person with a captivating presence. She radiates positive energy when she walks into a room. Danielle is always helpful and always goes the extra mile even if she isn't asked to. I admire her work ethic, but above all, I admire her personality and character. She is always smiling, laughing, and has a "go get 'em" attitude about life. Those that know her cannot help but love her. 


About 2-3 weeks ago, I was having my morning coffee when I received a text from her. What I read brought me to tears. Danielle was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and has to go into FMLA to seek treatment. She will be out of work until she is in remission. Danielle is also is a single mom to her 10-year old son and I can only imagine her concerns of how to care for him during this time. This is why I want to help her - because family takes care of their family during the tough times.

I am asking for help in raising funds for her. I would love to raise enough money to pay her mortgage for 3 months ($5,000). This will help take some burden off her shoulders so she can use her energy to fight this cancer. If you have the means, any donation is appreciated and nothing is to small.
