We are Preston Creative Social, a yearly grassroots creative arts festival, put on by a collaboration of local community creative groups. Spanning Art, music, poetry & circus skills. The event is free to attend and run on a voluntary basis. We are raising money to pay volunteer groups for their time & expertise, but keep the event free for attendees who need it.

Creativity and the arts are massively underfunded nationwide. With social media and economic hardship squeezing community spaces. We believe that finding friends through shared interests, nurturing a community, and helping people develop self-expression through creative practice should be accessible to everyone.

Engaging in creativity is proven to significantly boost mental health by reducing anxiety, depression & stress. Lancashire is in the top 17% of counties nationwide for suicide rates. We provide platforms for organisations such as Andy's Man Club, Cedar House & Lancashire Mind through stalls at our events & hold reducing mental health stigma as one of our core values.

All funds will be split between organisers: Preston DJ Social, Art & Joy, S-Werd, Promethian Circus Skills, Jamie Brewer Open Mic & Preston Creative Social.
