Who We Are:

Diamond Valley Community Support (DVCS) is a not-for-profit charitable organisation that has been serving the local
Diamond Valley community since 1972. DVCS services are free, confidential, impartial and independent. We assist over 4,000 people experiencing
financial and/or personal hardship each year, and we are supported by more than 100 volunteers and 5 staff.

Our Services Include:

Emergency Relief, Education Support, Financial Counselling, Personal Counselling, Family Legal Service, Tax Help, Public Internet Kiosk

Keeping an open door for our most vulnerable

As we all navigate our way through the Coronavirus crisis; many organisations like ours are closing their doors to the clients, either due to lack of volunteers to operate the services, or moving to a remote service via phone and email.

We are keeping our doors open; as many of the most vulnerable within our community do not have access to phones, or email, or computers and printers. They will be left behind through this crisis. Many of the emergency plans and closures already in place leave them behind

DVCS programs that will be funded

DVCS Food Collective is a group of local service delivery and donation partners working together to address food security challenges for vulnerable and disadvantaged community members in the Diamond Valley Region.

We do this by sourcing and supplying basic non-perishable food parcels of everyday necessities to those who are experiencing financial crisis and needing emergency relief assistance.

DVCS provide support and assistance in the City of Banyule, the Shire of Nillumbik and surrounding areas to people who are in need of relief from poverty, sickness, distress, misfortune, disability or helplessness

Food Vouchers / Parcels
Food Pantry
Health Care Prescriptions
Fuel / PTV Day Passes
Telstra Vouchers
Hygiene support - TLC/Lads Bags and Thrive Packs /Toiletry Bags
Counselling/Advice Services
School Costs
Swags, blankets and winter clothing
