I come to you all today to ask for your love, prayers, and monetary donations on behalf of the Jake Saddler family. As many know, our cowboy friend Jake has gone on to the rodeo in the sky. Jake Saddler gained his wings and left this earthly world into the spirit world on the evening of 6/11/25. If you can please find it in your hearts to donate and contribute to the family during this time in support of services and cremation.

Jake leaves behind 3 sons and one grandson. It is my goal to see to it that Jake's boys, mother, and family are taken care of during this time of grief and loss. Removing the weight of financial aspects that come with this is my highest goal. Jake was injured in the rodeo arena many years ago, and that is a portion of why we are where we are today and what began the struggles that the family has endured for many years now, among other health and life aspects as many know.

Jake is a cowboy of cowboys, no doubt, but he is first a Son, Father, Brother, Cousin, Uncle, then Pard and Pal. I ask that all those who knew Jake come together in this time and contribute any you can, and in doing so, knowing this is one of the last gifts we can see him through for not only him but his family. The only person at this time doing fundraising per the family is myself, and funds should only be going here, Venmo links provided, directly to Fran, myself (who will get it directly to Fran), or directly to the boys. There are no other approved fundraisers at this time.

Jake survived by 3 sons, Jace, Laithon, and Kade Saddler, and one 6-month-old grandbaby that belongs to Laithon. They are 22, 21, and 13. Though they are hardworking boys, they are with a new baby and just starting out in adulthood, and one who is still young at age 13. This is something I would like to take off their shoulders and it be the least of their worries or burden. Not only is it something I am honored to do, it was also among one of the last promised I made to my mother Renea, that I would be here for the Saddler family during their time of need. The boys do not live in Lubbock; they have already had to travel back and forth via a rental vehicle and will have more travels in the coming weeks as well to handle the necessary things and memorialize their father Jake.

Funds will go directly to the family to be used for any and all costs that have already and will continue to come from this loss and celebration of life memorial. Cremation expenses, travel, memorial services planning, and all else they will need during this time. Funds will go to an account that will be used to cover said expenses, and if any remain, the family will do as they see fit for the boys to help them during their time of loss and grief.

For food donations, please hold off until we know more about services and until the boys are back in town gathered again for Jake and the family and day of services family lunch or dinner. Though the family would prefer you choose a monetary donation to ensure the other expenses are first covered. It is my goal to raise the funds to allow them to cover all important costs such as cremation and travel first and hopefully allow them all they need to hold a beautiful celebration of life in honor of Jake, who is so very loved. To show those boys and Fran and the rest of the Whitney/Saddler family just how much our cowboy Jake is loved and the impact he made on so many lives.
