I'm creating this fundraising effort to help Mrs. Severina da Silva to cover her basic needs as she rebuilds her life after suffering all types of abuses for years.
I met Mrs. Silva through a friend last week via video call. I have been talking to her daily ever since, and I heard her horrible abuse ordeal in detail.
Even though she went through things that nobody should ever go through in life, she still hopes for a better future. She smiles, talks kindly about her loved children, and never ever lost her faith in God.

Mrs. Silva is a domestic violence survivor who suffered unimaginable abuses (sexual, psychological, and physical) for 38 long years while living in imprisonment by her abuser. She has 5 children bornt from the abuses, who she loves and cares for deeply. At least on 5 occasions during the 38 years, she was able to escape and ran to the police station in the nearby cities to report her abuses to the police. But sadly, she was neglected and sent back to her abuser. I know, it's hard to believe, but this is, unfortunately, Brazil, where she lives.
She is finally freed but she doesn't have a job or income to cover her basic needs.
She has many health issues caused by the abuses and needs urgent medical attention at the moment.
She needs a safe place to live with her adult children, two of them have medical issues as well.
All donations will go directly to her. I'm happy to provide proof showing that to donors; just ask me, I won't be offended! It will cover medical bills, housing, food, and clothing for her and her children. I can also provide pictures of her recovery and what the money was used for if you want to (as much as possible, respecting her privacy)!
We appreciate any donation you can give to her. No amount is too small. If you could spare only $5 or $10 dollars, it will go a long way for her and/or share this campaign on your social platforms to bring awareness!

Estou criando essa campanha para ajudar a Dona Severina da Silva para cobrir as suas necessidades básicas enquanto ela reconstrói a sua vida depois de sofrer todos os tipos de abusos por anos.
Dona Severina é uma sobrevivente de violência doméstica. Ela sofreu violência sexual, psicológica e física por 38 anos vivendo em cárcere privado. Ela tem 5 filhos gerados desses abusos, que ela ama e cuida com carinho.
Ela está finalmente livre mas não tem um trabalho ou renda para cobrir as necessidades básicas dela e da família.
Ela tem muitos problemas de saúde decorrentes dos abusos sofridos e precisa de cuidados médicos no momento.
Ela precisa de um lugar seguro para viver com os seus filhos, dois deles tem também problemas de saúde.
Todas as doações irão direto para ela. E vão cobrir despesas médicas, moradia, comida e roupas para ela e os filhos.
