DOGMAN3: Fight to the Finish, is the third and final feature length movie of the trilogy. Both of the previous films deliberately left cliffhanger questions unanswered, according to Brauer, “Now it’s time to bring exciting closure to the series”. Brauer adds “This film will be scary and fun, family friendly and is surprisingly redemptive”.

The original primary cast, including Larry Joe Campbell, Kimberly Guerrero and Stacie Mitchell are all eager to reprise their roles, come from Los Angeles. The balance of the professional cast hail from Michigan.

Tentative filming in Benzie County was scheduled for September of 2022, but the Screen Actors Guild and their costly COVID protocol has prompted us to delay the film until this is no longer an issue. Hopefully winter. We're actually thrilled that DM3 might be set in the snowy north! Remember Fargo?

Brauer has produced and directed ten feature films, all shot in Michigan, three in Benzie County and four starring Academy Award winner Ernest Borgnine. Brauer adds “Not only do we make a movie, but we make a lot of friends”. Brauer was named Michigan Filmmaker of the year in 2009.

According to the Benzie Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Michelle Barefoot; “Film production brings much to our local economy. Brauer Productions specifically schedules filming during the off-season to allow our area business some respite from their heavy summer traffic. Film crews bring in lodging and restaurant revenue to the area in addition to drawing notoriety from film enthusiasts…Brauer Productions brought 38 Michigan sourced jobs to the area during the filming of Dogman 2 in 2013”.

After filming of Dogman2, a photograph of the Dogman waterskiing on Crystal Lake appeared. It became an instant hit. It was a fun stunt rigged by Brauer and his crew.
The first two DOGMAN movies that Brauer filmed in Benzie County in 2011 and 2013 have been met with an eager local, regional and even wider Amazon Prime audience according to Brauer’s distributor, Questar Entertainment.
