The REALITY CHECK: I MUST STOP WORKING if I wish to accept the invitation. I have arranged for the care of my clients for a potential absence of 10 weeks. But, working for commissions alone, this means I will have no income until I win this game.

Friends, Family, Fellow Crazy Foodies- will you help me? I need help to fund our family’s expenses so I can quite literally walk away from my beloved (but second choice) career to pursue a dream I never imagined could or would be possible.
I understand this request seems shallow and selfish on so many levels: I’m a single mom with children that need me. I’m financially unable to seize this amazing opportunity on my own. I’d have to walk away from clients whose missions are of great concern to me. Some are going to TRY and prevent me from winning. BUT… I have beat out possibly tens of thousands of interested candidates to reach this point. I have to think, NO, I know – I MADE THIS HAPPEN, and I am meant to be in the game.
Opportunities like these, opportunities that you have worked 4 months to achieve and GAIN, don’t come along often. WINNING THE LEARNING ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME would be the launch of a whole new life for my daughters and myself. A life that will – like my favorite poem – create a ripple effect of goodness, reaching people and shores farther than I can even imagine.
