Dillon's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019, Dillon Meyers was involved in a work accident. While working on a drop ceiling at a job site in Indiana, the panel supporting Dillon gave out causing him to fall fifteen feet to the concrete ground. Dillon was transported to a hospital in Indianapolis where he was treated for a traumatic brain injury, broken collar bone, broken ribs, and many other injuries. Dillon was intubated to support his breathing and also required chest tubes to help drain his lungs which were also collapsed. As of today, Dillon is still receiving care in a Neurological Intensive Care Unit in Indianapolis. For those of you that know Dillon, you already know he is one of the most selfless and caring people in the world. His soon-to-be wife, Izzy, is no different. Izzy is currently spending every second by Dillon's side, keeping her from her career of teaching young children. Dillon is thankfully showing promising signs of improvement each day, but the road to his recovery will be a very long one. Dillon and Izzy would be the first to do anything they could to help their family, friends, or community and would never ask anything in return. The physical, mental, and financial stress they are and will continue to face is immeasurable to which no family should have to endure. Please consider helping them through this journey of recovery. Your thoughts and prayers are undoubtedly helping and are very much appreciated! Please feel free to leave a message for Dillon as Izzy as well. Thank you all!
