Help Diana buy a new minivan!

I am starting this GoFundMe for my friend Diana, who desperately needs a new car. She currently lives in a green minivan that has reached the end of its useful life: bald tires, broken mirrors, windows that don’t roll up and the engine no longer turns over. She’s accumulating parking tickets because she can't move her car for street cleaning. And we fear that it will be impounded any day. I have known Diana for about four years. She has been homeless for decades. She's on many housing lists in San Francisco, but it's complicated because she has two dogs and a medical condition that precludes her from many options. But this is not a sob story; Diana is resilient, good-humored, funny, and upbeat. She loves to read, and has impressive beadwork and Crochet skills. She makes amazing earrings, pouches, and decorations. Right now, Diana needs a new car/home. Hence, this GOFUNDME. Diana thinks she can find a suitable van for around $3,000. I’ve looked on Craigslist, and this seems possible. In addition, we anticipate the van will need new tires, tags, and other repairs. So, we are looking to raise $4,000. All money will go to Diana’s car purchase, repair and upkeep. I will help facilitate the purchase and safe-keep any extra funds for future car needs.
