Earlier this week we lost our dear friend Devon Rees.  The world is a little dimmer today without this amazing man in it. His heart touched so many others and he will be missed by all those who knew him.  Any donation you can give to help the family in this very trying time, will be greatly appreciated.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Rees family.

There will be a viewing Friday, Dec 9th from 6:00pm-8:00pm and also Saturday morning Dec 10th at 10:00am. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 11:00am at the Midway Stake Center. 165 N Center Street Midway Utah.

Our dear friend Devon is fighting Brain Cancer and needs all of our help! Devon was diagnosed with Brain Cancer in 2010 and since then has undergone multiple intensive surgeries to remove three different tumors. He has endured radiation treatments and chemotherapy, fought through numerous infections and blood clots and has been on a long list of medications. Devon has been through so much in the past years and it has been very hard on he and his family, but through it all, he continuous to be positive and he continues to fight. Devon is a very peaceful natured and humble person and he is not one to complain, but this traumatic experience has been very hard on Devon and on Devon’s family. As you can imagine, the costs involved in fighting this cancer have been very high and the bills have been and continue to be overwhelming for their family.

Devon is such an amazing person, with a beautiful spirit, but him and his family are enduring some incredibly difficult trials right now. We all have an opportunity to join in and help him through his fight. Anything and everything will help. Please spread the word and please continue to pray for Devon and his family!

All the money raised will be put directly towards paying off the medical bills and towards additional treatments and medications that Devon still needs.

When this all started, Devon struggled with many symptoms, but was finally diagnosed with Brain Cancer. In May of 2010, a 10-centimeter tumor was removed. Following this Devon encountered swollen legs, blood clots, gallbladder removal, pancreatitis and a staph infection. Many months of radiation and chemo gave way to five good years, following this very trying year. Then in October of 2015, Devon had a reoccurrence, which resulted in more surgery and a ½ dose of full head radiation and chemo simultaneously for five grueling weeks. In June of 2016, another more aggressive egg-size tumor was removed. This tumor was pressing on the motor nerves, affecting his left hand and foot. Devon is scheduled for his first Gama knife radiation this week.

Throughout the past six years, many alternative methods of healing have also been used and we continue to look for more alternative healing modalities.
Much faith and many prayers have supported us through this journey. Much gratitude fills our hearts for the Lord’s hand in our lives…and for the angels, seen and unseen, who administer our daily needs.
