Hello, I am Jeremy and I have an incredible story to share with you about my son Devin, a passionate 21-year-old who aspires to one day be a full time career firefighter. Devin has faced numerous challenges in his journey, particularly last year when he was diagnosed with cancer. After undergoing surgery to remove a tumor from his left arm, he lost 15 cm of his radial nerve and bicep muscle, rendering his left hand almost unusable when it comes to heavy lifting or prolonged use . Determined to overcome his obstacles, Devin then underwent 25 rounds of radiation treatment, followed by 6 rounds of chemotherapy.

Though his journey to recovery is long, Devin remains resilient and determined to get back to near-normal. He has a series of surgical procedures and physical therapy ahead of him, and he estimates a full recovery time of mid to late 2025.
