Shalom and blessings to you, beloved friends, family, fellow laborers in Messiah, and the community at large.
We come before you today with humble hearts and a passionate vision—a vision to see this House of the Almighty in our community restored, revived, and ready to serve the needs of His people once again. Our assembly has been entrusted with this sacred space, a physical building that has long served as a place of worship, prayer, discipleship, and community fellowship. But now, it stands in dire need of rehabilitation.
Over the years, the wear and tear of time has taken a toll on this building. From foundational repairs and roofing needs, to outdated plumbing, electrical systems, and essential safety upgrades—this house of worship needs a true renewal both physically and spiritually. What we face is not just a construction project, but a divine opportunity: to restore a sanctuary where lives are changed, hearts are healed, the Word is proclaimed, and the presence of the Most High is tangibly known.
Why This Matters
Throughout Scripture, we see the importance of sacred space. In the days of Moses, the Tabernacle was built with offerings from the people, given freely and joyfully (Exodus 35:21). Later, when Solomon built the Temple, the people gave abundantly so that the glory of God would have a dwelling place among them (1 Chronicles 29:9). Today, though we are each the Temple of the Holy Spirit, there remains great significance in maintaining physical spaces that are dedicated to the worship and service of the Lord.
Our congregation is not just a gathering place. It is a spiritual lighthouse in our community—a refuge for the weary, a school for the disciples of Y’shua, a training ground for leaders, a joyful place for children to grow up, a shelter for the broken, and a launchpad for missions and outreach. But we cannot fulfill this calling without the necessary resources to rebuild and restore what has been entrusted to us.
The Need
We have carefully assessed the scope of the rehabilitation required, and while we are stewarding every dollar with integrity and wisdom, the costs are considerable. These include:
- Roof, gutters, and structural repairs to ensure the building’s safety
- New plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems to provide reliable utilities
- New kitchen and restroom facilities
- Installing proper insulation, flooring, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to accommodate year-round ministry
- A sanctuary space for accessibility and functionality
- Complying with city safety codes and permits
Altogether, the estimated cost for this restoration is $75,000.
How You Can Partner With Us
We are asking you—brothers and sisters in the faith, generous hearts near and far—to consider partnering with us in this holy endeavor. Every gift, no matter the size, is a seed sown into the Kingdom of God. We are not merely restoring walls and ceilings; we are rebuilding a foundation for future generations to encounter the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, to grow in His Word, and to be equipped for His service.
We invite you to share this with friends, family, and anyone the Holy Spirit may lead. Pray with us. Sow with us. Believe with us.
As the Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Corinth: “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7). May your generosity be returned to you a hundredfold, and may you share in the harvest of the many lives that will be touched through this endeavor.
Together, help us raise up the ruins, repair the breach, and build again the walls of praise. Thank you for standing with us in faith, sacrifice, and love.
With deep gratitude and expectancy in the Almighty,
Adoniyahu Lewis
