Denise Jaeger's Family

Denise Jaeger, “Neecy”, was a Mother of two (Jason 39 and Jennifer 36), Step-Mother of 3 (Dana 38, Arielle 35 and Eric 40), Grandmother of 8 (Kyler 18, Aleena 16, Mattie 13, Kohen 10, Evan 10, Kennedy 6, Vinnie 3, Wylee 1). She was a loving Wife to Rick for 13 years. She was everything and much, much more to everyone that knew her. It is absolutely heartbreaking and unfair that she has passed away. Right now we could all use some of her good natured silliness, unconditional love, and unrelenting faith.

Neecy’s illness has been a difficult and long road filled with challenges, tears and laughter. 5 years ago she was diagnosed with Osteoporosis and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Having been an avid outdoors lover and active woman, this diagnosis and it’s progressive, debilitating symptoms led to an extreme shift in how she lived. She could no longer play and walk the hills of her beautiful Montana countryside – fishing or hiking – without pain and exhaustion. She had to learn to rely on artificial oxygen tanks, pain meds and a wheelchair for any semblance of her old life and basic comforts. She fought to live this way and smiled through her pain living to see all of her kids and grandkids grow-up while she held on as long as she could, with a smile.

On November 12, 2016 in Thompson Falls, Montana it was determined that Neecy’s lungs were beyond repair, her bones to brittle to support her small frame and she was no longer able to sustain her life. Her loving husband, Rick, didn't leave her side and laid holding her through to her last breath and beyond.

We all loved Neecy and we all know how much she loved her family. This is intended to help the Jaeger/Hensyel family through the most difficult time of their life. Your donation will be used towards medical expenses, funeral expenses and any surplus will be put into savings for the kid’s and grandkid’s. Your help means so much!
