Denice Schmitt, beloved wife, mother, mamoo, sister, aunt, friend and inspiration to many, passed away on the evening of February 3rd. Her journey with cancer was long and at many times painful, but she faced each new challenge with grace and strength. She lived a selfless life always thinking and doing for others first.

Knowing her cancer was terminal, Denice planned on using the life insurance through her work in order to pay for her final arrangements. Unfortunately, she was unexpectedly let go from the job she held for 10 years. To make matters worse, her boss knew of her terminal cancer and of the medical and life insurance benefits she would lose. This has left Denice's family with a substantial monetary burden.

Given these circumstances, we issue this plea for donations to help pay for her funeral expenses. Any and all generosity is greatly appreciated.
