Democracy at Risk: Help Fund Billboards in Lehigh Valley PA

SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY - WE CAN - WE MUST
Hello, I’m Dan Poresky, a lifelong Allentown resident. I fear for the future of our country.
I am asking your help to fund billboards being placed locally to call attention to what we’re losing- our democracy and the freedoms and the rights it guarantees.
The 4-week run for our first Democracy Billboard on U.S. Rt 22 ended July 20. I’m thrilled to say that a sufficient number of people contributed to justify spending on another board that will also be on Rt. 22 shortly. The new board calls attention to the cruel and illegal actions of ICE agents. I will send out an email update with a photo of the new board when it is posted.
As a contributor, these billboards speak for you. Speaking together, these boards, seen by thousands of people every day, speak of our concerns, our outrage, and our determination to protect our democracy, our people, and our standing in the world. They reassure like-minded people that they are not alone. They plant seeds of concern among people who may be unaware. They also help groups, like Indivisible, that are fighting for the return of democracy, to grow their numbers and increase their impact.
As long as the list of contributors keeps growing, I will buy additional billboards to decry the damage being done by this administration. The cost for a prime board on Rt 22 can run $5,000.
Small donations are welcome (they add up) and donors can be shown as anonymous.
To get more contributors, it is vital that people, like you, share this fundraiser with family and friends. There are thousands of local people who agree with us but don’t know they can participate. The more contributors we have on the list, the more people will want to join us and the more forceful is our voice.
So, please click on SHARE and include a few words saying why you chose to support this effort. You can tell them my name, Dan Poresky, and that I’m a lifelong Allentown resident, founder of Dan’s Camera City in Allentown, now retired.
Let’s do it together.
Thank you.
