What Trump actions have you angry and afraid? Vaccine denial. Climate change denial. Healthcare. Supreme Court stacking. Epstein files. Whitewashing American history. Exploding energy costs. Tariffs. Immigration brutality. NATO bashing. Authoritarian maneuverings. White Christian Nationalism support. Tax policies that make the rich richer and the rest of us poorer. Election interference. Defunding EPA, education, and consumer protection agencies. And so many more.
Join with me and hundreds of others to fund Democracy billboards that encourage people to vote this year for Democratic candidates. Restoring a Democratic majority in congress is our best chance to stop and reverse the corruption and the dismantling of our democratic freedoms and protections.
On Feb 15 I posted a new pro-democracy billboard on Route 22 that will run until March 14. Please consider donating to this effort. I set up this GoFundMe page for donations. Any amount will be appreciated. Having a large number of donors listed on the site is just as important as the dollars contributed.
The new billboard is digital with rotating ads. It is located on the right side of Route 22 when traveling west, approximately halfway between Airport R. and the Fullerton exit. The billboard reads: HOW WOULD JESUS VOTE? TO LIFT PEOPLE UP OR TO PUT PEOPLE DOWN
Why frame the question this way? Because many Americans—religious and non-religious alike—recognize the importance of moral leadership grounded in compassion, fairness, and concern for the vulnerable. Our message is not about religion or doctrine; it is about values that cut across belief systems and speak to our shared responsibilities in a democracy.
By contrast, when asked what guides him, President Donald Trump replied: “My own morality. My own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop me.”
A second billboard will go up on March 23 and will also run for four weeks. The message will be the same, except for the headline, which will read: HOW WILL YOU VOTE?
I posted two billboards in 2025. People noticed them and talked about them. They were effective—and expensive. Thanks to 145 donors, we raised $9,000 toward a total cost of $12,835. Those contributions made the billboards possible and demonstrated the power of many voices acting together.
The total cost of these two new digital billboards is $5,250—roughly half the cost of earlier static boards. Any donation amount will help. Donors will receive updates, including photos of the billboards.
Please Click Share to pass this appeal along to friends, family, candidates, and organizations—no matter where they live. The outcome of this year’s congressional election in Pennsylvania could affect everyone.
With gratitude and determination,
Dan Poresky
