It is with profound sadness that English for Action (EFA) and community announces the passing of Demetrio Tem Temaj on December 29, 2017. Demetrio was a long time EFA learner and leader who tragically died in a hit-and-run accident. He will be remembered as a dear and kind person; a great, strong, yet soft-spoken individual. He loved his work having great skills and abilities. He leaves an indelible mark on all who knew him. As we mourn the loss of a friend here, we want to ensure that Demetrio is repatriated to his loved ones in Guatemala, so that he can receive a proper burial among family and friends in his native home. Demetrio leaves behind his parents, siblings, wife and beloved son.

 
Es con profunda tristeza que Ingles en Acción (EFA) y la comunidad anuncian el fallecimiento de Demetrio Tem Temaj el 29 de diciembre de 2017. Demetrio fue un estudiante y líder en EFA de mucho tiempo, que falleció trágicamente en un accidente automovilístico. Será recordado como una persona querida y amable, una gran persona fuerte, pero de voz suave. Le encantaba su trabajo y tenia grandes destrezas y habilidades. Deja una marca indeleble en todos los que lo conocieron. Mientras lloramos la pérdida de un amigo aquí, queremos asegurarnos de que Demetrio sea repatriado a sus seres queridos en Guatemala para que pueda recibir un entierro apropiado entre familiares y amigos en su hogar natal. Demetrio deja atrás a sus padres, hermanos, esposa y a su hijo amado.
