Delia's Journey

I love Delia, and if you are here it's because you love her too!

It was 2015 when Delia decided she wanted to change her life--she wanted to be healthier. So she began in this incredibly inspiring journey to change her lifestyle and lose weight. Two years later, the results are incredible, and Delia's determination to continue to be the best Delia she can be, continues.

Through her weight loss journey, Delia has inspired many of us. And though it wasn't easy, Delia was able to lose a lot of weight. Her commitment to herself is also a commitment to her community. She is a champion that has dedicated her entire life to serving Latin@s.

She fiercely fights for women and makes sure we always have a place at the table. Delia has mentored hundreds, if not thousands, of young people--she has sowed so much good in our community and it's time to show her the fruits of her labor.

Delia needs us! As the result of her two-year weight loss journey, Delia has now some extra skin. This skin needs to go, and although her doctors agree, the insurance company will not pay for it.

Delia has decided to finance the surgery, but with the new house she bought (housewarming party coming soon!!!) the needed surgery is going to cause more stress than it should.

Delia has more friends than anyone I know, and if 150 of her friends give anywhere from $25 to $100, we will get to the goal of raising the $8,000 in no time.
