I'm first in line from California's Congressional District 5 in the north San Francisco Bay area as a delegate for Bernie Sanders to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
This will be a contested convention. We understand the ways of our opponent. Keeping our eye on the ball, we intend to move effectively and in concert to come out of the convention with a win for Bernie Sanders as the Presidential nominee of the Democratic Party.
Let the Democratic Party shed its old ways and rise to be the progressive party of the people, nominating the only candidate who can effectively win in November. The cause is right and the time is now. I'm asking for your financial support in this expensive and important endeavor!
