I recently lost my mom to Alzheimer’s. 

-Living life as a person with a disability without a parent is like walking a tight rope without a net for the first time. 

-I am afraid to move.

-I’ve been asking myself how do you overcome the fear of living life without a safety net?

-Feeling safe and secure in this world as a disabled person is the key to surviving.

-I’ve come to believe what I need now is home, to get back to my foundation.

-I would like to return back to Gonzales Louisiana and take up residence in the home I grew up in.

-Making this transition requires me to do some basic repairs on the house, make it accessible, the cost of moving, and any legalities.

-I know this is the right move for me at this time in my life.
