Flags for Deepdale 2022-2023

You will all have seen the brilliant scenes at Deepdale as the fan-funded Sir Tom Finney and SkyLine flags surfed over the Town End and Kop, respectively, on the 5th of April.

Having spoken to supporters groups, our members and the football club, we don't want to stop there.

Ryan Lowe and the side believe that we can make a real difference on a matchday and with the fantastic season ticket offers we want to do our bit and build on the amazing scenes we had in the derby.

The aim is to make the Town End a sea of blue and white for every home game, with the surfers complementing these around the Stadium when possible.

Earlier this year, we raised just short of £6000 to pay for the two surfers.

Now we would like to raise more to buy smaller "waver" flags, banners, and anything else that supporters will be able to access on a matchday to help bring back the days of the Old Town End in the 90's.

If successful we also hope to work towards some TIFO type displays in the future but as stated above it is key we need supporters to help out on match days.

We are delighted there is also a possibility of any fan's contributions being matched pound for pound, so we can hopefully have a blue and white wall in time for the start of the 22/23 season.

We know that times are hard at the moment, so we appreciate anything you can spare for the cause.

With the help of our supporters, we would like to work towards forming a small subgroup of supporters to help ensure our flags can be displayed as often as possible.
