"My passionate desire and drive to compete in the Olympics have never diminished, even after my horrific fall and injuries sustained at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London. Down time during recovery from that incident, found me unsponsored and with no support. However, I have continued to train, while working and going to school part- time because I am determined to GO TO THE OLYMPICS.
From a very young age, growing up in Trinidad & Tobago, it has always been my dream to compete in the Olympics and that deep longing to see that dream become a reality, is what continues to fuel my determination.
I currently live in Weatherford Oklahoma, working as a Fitness Trainer and have just graduated as a Massage Therapist.
I am using this platform to generate support to help continue my Olympic training and preparation in San Antonio Texas. Acquiring this help is necessary, coaching fees, travel, accommodations etc. My training camp is there and this support would allow me the freedom to completely focus on achieving the Olympic qualification. Therefore, I am asking you to please join with me, family, friends known and unknown, on this Gofundme page to aid me through the next many months leading up to the Tokyo Olympic Games. "
Giving is easier in smaller increments making it possible for anyone to help.
If 1,400 people give only $5.00, share this directly with 5 close friends and post on your Facebook page for 2 weeks…. achieving this would be simple.
Of course, give any amount and share this page on FB, Instagram and even via email.
I appreciate any help and please cheer me on my journey to Tokyo. Thank you.
If you would like to discuss endorsements or promotion, please email me before donating. [email redacted]
Much appreciation in advance. ~Deborah John
