Hey, greetings! It’s Debbie.
- I am going to do something I am not good at…ask for HELP, please.
I made a promise to my best friend right before she lost her heroic battle with cancer that I would take care of her 96-year-old dad (fondly known as Grandpa). With my help caring for him (24/7-live in), her children are able to continue teaching their second year and finishing up their masters programs. I’ve been here over a year. Being Grandpa’s caregiver has been a challenge, because he needs someone at the house around the clock.
Here is my exciting announcement:
After waiting for 3 years to have the opportunity to regain my hearing. My dream has come true. I will be having surgery July 29th in Portland, Oregon to have a Bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA) procedure. In order for me to have this done and continue to be Grandpa’s caregiver, I will be flying to Portland several times during this exciting process. Here is where you can help:
1. Financial help with the expenses of flying back and forth.
2. Love, prayers, and giggles of course for strength.
I greatly appreciate your help with my dream. Can’t wait to hear your voice loud and clear!
