On a typical work day, my friend Deb offered to pick up coffees for her manager on her 15 minute break. While walking outside, she fell breaking her kneecap and her wrist in two places. What should have been a quiet day turned into a painful, life-changing accident in seconds.

She is now facing a long and difficult recovery. Walking, working, and even basic daily tasks are incredibly hard right now. With her knee immobilized and her hand injured, she cannot safely support herself, drive, or return to work anytime soon.
