Dear Australia,
I miss you, and I would like to come home, but...
The thing is I've been in Europe for a while and I'm in the middle of a few things.
I've made a really cool band ! 
We played over 25 Concerts just last year, and the bookings are rolling in for a Summer European Tour in July 2015. With the help of singing/songwriting, guitar playing awesomeness of Milan Heil; 'Whisky & Rhymes' make music that is a fun mash-up of bouncy french chanson and balkan beats, rock n' roll and a bit of blues, put together with silly lyrics about the devil, lies and wanting to kill your ex. We like to call it 'anti-folk', but have a listen for yourself.
I've written a bunch of Girly Songs 
The Whisky's make loud, fun and quirky stuff. But, being a girl every now and then I write soft, emotional songs with simple guitar I can do on my own. Inspired by the Australian folk divas's like Sarah Blasko and Julia Stone.
These songs are my 'Bread and Butter' and people seem to love them. As a Bar-Busker, I walk into small cafe's and Bars and play for 15 minutes to half an hour, run around with a hat and ask for spare change. With this I earn enough for rent and groceries, plus I win new fans for 'The Whisky's'.
Also, we've opened a Bar
Me and a bunch of creatively-fueled friends needed a living room and a place where we get to choose the music. Nussbreite is our living and practice room, but more importantly its the coolest new Bar in Wedding, Berlin. We put on a bunch of small concerts, jam sessions and open mic-nights to help new musicians in the area play and get more ears. I will use the Wi-fi to make a Not-for-Profit organisation that will be like a booking/talent agency for all the awesome people involved such as...
Combings make simply astounding, beautiful Indie-folk in the vein of Muphord and Sons or Bright Eyes. I just dont know why these guys arnt world famous already. 
Michael Landau and the Cupcakes are a live show of cute, story-telling musical comedy magic. They should be playing the world-wide Finge festival track .
Temple Haze. Although not technically part of the Nussbreite crew, his Music genious should be taking the world by storm. At only 21 he plays guitar better than most people can play after playing guitar for 21 years! His songwriting voice can be soft and touching, but his love of rock n' roll makes me think he's on track to being the next Jeff Buckly/ Jimi Hendrix.
So... Why do I need your help?
To stay i need a new visa from German Imigration, and the Aus-länder-ba -hell-hole of german beurocracy wants me to be filthy rich...
About €10,000 in savings :(
What would I do with this money?!?
If I did have I could do many cool things...
- I can record a new album with 'Whisky & Rhymes'.
- I can Produce and Record my own 'Girl Songs'.
- I can go to a German school and get better at talking german (so I can understand some of my friends jokes better.)
But the best bit...
- I can plan & book a tour to Australia with Combings, Michael Landau, Temple, and the Whisky's for Summer 2015/16. I get to visit home with all my amazing Berlin friends, and take Australia by storm. AMAZING!
- I can invite Australian Musicians stay at my appartment in Berlin so they can experience the magic of this city for themselves. They can record an albumn at the amazing Landhause Tonstudio (another Nussbreite contact) and I can give them all the inside Live music venue tips for getting gigs booked :)
I want to make Australia Proud!
I'll keep asking the government, my friends, my family, booking agencies, australian music festivals, live music venues, other australian bands, Womens groups who help out cool chics, charities... who ever it takes!
