Dawson Luke Causey touched so many people's hearts in his 11 years of life. He made you laugh and smile and was a joy to be around.
He started having seizures as a baby and was soon after diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome, which is a rare epileptic disorder. He fought a hard battle and ended up in the ICU at St. Louis Children's hospital, where he was surrounded by loved ones until he entered the Gates of Heaven on Friday, November 13, 2015.
Dawson was never able to have a Life Insurance policy due to his diagnosis of Dravet Syndrome. His father, Kevin, is the Pastor at Florrisant Baptist Church in Missouri and his mom, Erin, devoted her time to caring for Dawson. Dawson also has an older sister, Hannah, and a younger sister, Claire.
This page has been created to raise money for his funeral costs and other medical expenses his family has incurred. We would like to help give them time to mourn and celebrate Dawson's life without having to worry about money.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our friends, family and acquaintances for all the love and support we have received during this difficult time. Thank you for your contribution.
Please feel free to pass this link along to others whose life may have been impacted by Dawson or Dravet Syndrome.
