As some of you may know, Savannah and Joshua Jones lost their baby Rowan, in January of 2015. He was stillborn at 26 weeks gestation. With the help of God and prayers she was fortunate and became preganant again with another baby boy. His name is Dawsen Kahill Jones. Joshua was working in North Dakota when Savannah was rushed to the hospital knowing something was wrong. Diagnosed with Eclampsia, Savannah was then ambulanced to the nearest children's hospital in Fargo, ND, within hours Savannah had an emergency c-section and they delivered Dawsen. He was also only 23-26 weeks gestation. Dawsen was born September 17th, 2016, weighting 1lbs 3oz's. He's a true fighter!
Although the NICU in Fargo has done all they can, Dawsen needs to be transported to a level 4 hospital. The NICU he is in presently is a level 2, and they are limited. Dawsen is suffering with limited growth, retinopathy and an inability to breathe without a ventilator for more than a few days. After 7 weeks he still only weighs 2 pounds as of 10/31. Oxygen is Dawsens lifeline and the road to blindness. The best chance he has is to be air ambulanced to Childrens Hospital-Denver CO. But the insurance will NOT cover the expense. Not only is Colorado, Savannah and Joshua's home, Children's Hospital is one of the highest rated hospitals in the US and the respitory pioneers in premature respitory theropies. Dawsen desperatly needs to be transported ASAP! Everyday the damage grows!
Grace on Wings in Indianapolis will cover the expenses, the air ambulance and medical equipment and medical team to fly Dawsen from Fargo to Denver. They only ask for us to pay for the Jet Fuel. It's figured to be between $12,159-$15,000 dollars for fuel. We also have to cover the ambulance from the hospital in Fargo to the airport and the ambulance from the Denver airport to Children's Hospital. Even though Savannah can fly with Dawsen, we need to get Joshua home as well. They have exhausted all their resources and still have so many bills to cover. Joshua is doing his part and took a job cleaning bathrooms at a truckstop in Fargo so they had food, gas and a few bucks for incidentials. Please help little baby Dawsen have a chance at life and get the best medical attention he can. Thank you so much for all your kind donations and prayers. God bless.
