Supporting Dawn's Recovery
Donation protected
Our mom, grandma, daughter, and friend needs our support! Dawn has always been a rock for those around her, and has never asked for help from any of us. That's why we - her friends and family - want to step in now and ask for your help so Dawn has one less thing to worry about right now.

Several months ago, Dawn was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, the cancer is slow-growing and she'll make a full recovery. In the meantime, however, Dawn will need to undergo 4 weeks of radiation.

Dawn has recently moved back to Ketchikan, Alaska and is closer to her parents; one of her daughters, Chelsea; and her two beautiful grandbabies, Paislie and Torrin, in the small town she loves. Unfortunately, this means that in order to recieve the radiation treatment she needs, she has to travel to Seattle. As you can imagine, the expense of 4 weeks of hotel stays, food, and airfare are quickly adding up on top of the medical expenses. After the radiation is complete, she'll need to make regular trips back to her oncologists in Seattle until further notice.
Of course Dawn is in good spirits, as always, and is ready to beat this cancer and get back to her normal life. She's worked at Davies-Barry Insurance for 20 years, is a wonderful grandma and devoted mother, and a lover of all the beautiful scenery that Ketchikan has to offer.
For those of you who have the pleasure of knowing Dawn, you know that she is the first to jump to action if someone is in need, offering advice, a place to stay, or a hug. And if you don't know Dawn, suffice it to say that all of those who do know her are anxious to have the opportunity to help her as much as she has helped them throughout her life.
Join me in donating whatever you're able to and easing this stressful time for Dawn so that she can focus on healing and peace and get back to her family as soon as possible. Your generosity means the world not only to Dawn, but to the countless people who love her as well.

We love you, Dawn! Let's get you home.
