Hey everyone, it's Dawn! On July 13th, I'm gonna hit the big 4-0! Yep, 40. I thought of throwing a big party (if someone wants to throw me one, that would be dope), but figured I'd made the birthday meaningful by focusing on others.

I decided on a trip to Haiti to support i'mMe's vision of ending the orphan cycle. I met former NFLer David Nelson and his brothers and learned about the wonderful things their organization is doing for children in Haiti. I promised I'd join them someday... my someday is right around the corner. I'll be heading to Haiti August 6th-13th and I can't wait!

I am raising money for costs of travel and fees for the trip. Any additional funds raised will go to i'MMe for them to use in any way the see fit. I encourage you to check out the organization. It's a good one. You will see why this trip is so important to me. www.imme.org
