Father, artist,  a partner in 2720 Cherokee Permorming Arts Center, co-founder of the St. Louis World's Fare, and a proud Citizen of St. Louis, Davide Weaver, recently had a CT scan that has indicated that he has a tumor in the middle ear. The tumor has already destroyed 2  out of 3 of the hearing bones and has heavily damaged the hearing canal. He needs to have surgery within 3-6 months before it deteriorates his hearing even more and could spread to the inner ear. If it reaches the inner ear, it could reach his brain. They will have to drill a hole in his skull behind his ear to remove it. Then cut open the back of the ear to skin graf his ear drum which has been heavily damaged as well. After the surgery his hearing will probably get worse but the problem and threat will have been removed.
