David Wanninger was a beloved member of the Moonlight Basin family who unexpectedly passed away March 19th, 2016.
For those of you who didn’t know David, he joined Moonlight Basin at The Reserve as Assistant Golf Professional in May of 2015. He quickly won the hearts of all who he came in contact with, including Associates and members alike. David had a passion for golf like few others. He was raised in North Augusta, South Carolina with a true southern grace and passion for hospitality. David started visiting Big Sky in the summer of 2013 where he spent two seasons with Yellowstone Club prior to joining Moonlight. David was planning to take his PGA Player Ability test in May of this year in pursuit of his dream of becoming a PGA Golf Professional.
For those of you who knew David best, you would easily say that he carried a charisma that most people would dream to have. His smile would warm the hearts of many and encourage them to carry a kinder disposition for others. He did this naturally, which made him the dear friend he was to so many.
As Greg Wagner put it best, “David was the true life of the clubhouse.”
David was an integral and irreplaceable part of our Moonlight family; a personality that radiated positive energy through anyone who came in contact with him.
The money raised through this page will go to David's family to help with their expenses during this difficult and heart-wrenching time.
