Hi My Name is Darren Bourke and I am an Irish stand up comedian based in Toronto. I have been studying and practising stand up comedy and podcasting for the last 5 years. It’s my calling. I have no doubt in my mind that I will be filling stadiums in the future. At that point money will no longer be an issue for myself or anybody in my sphere.

Of course I can be patient and wait and keep grinding over the next 5 years until I get lucky enough to be seen by the right person at the right time and be catapulted to the stars but I feel like I have so much more to offer the world by travelling the world spreading love and laughter.

I don’t spend money on materialistic fancy things. I’m known for having very little “things”. Things have never brought me close to as much joy as putting smiles on peoples faces and helping those who need me.

This year I want to return to both my hometowns in Ireland and put on a couple Top quality comedy shows for my hometown friends and family and show everybody what I have been working on for the last 5 years. I’m ready to show the world what I’m made of and continue to help everybody around me.

I am prepared to be patient and continue my slow rise to the top but I wanted to create this go fund me in case anybody that has enjoyed my content so far would like to invest in me and speed up this inevitable process. When we work together we can make miracles happen.
