Remembering Darrell
Darrell was more than just a man — he was the heart of our family. Though not the biological father of my children, he stepped into their lives without hesitation and loved them as if they were his own. To them, and to me, he was “Dad.”
He had a way of making everyone feel welcome. Sweet, kind, and endlessly giving, Darrell never met a stranger. He could brighten a room with his smile, calm tensions with his gentle words, and lift spirits with his humor. Family, friends, neighbors — he loved everyone, and in return, everyone loved him.
Darrell worked hard and gave everything he had to those around him. He didn’t seek recognition or reward — his joy came from seeing others happy, cared for, and supported. Whether it was helping a friend move, cooking a meal for someone in need, or simply being a listening ear, Darrell lived his life as a quiet servant of love and kindness.
He was my life partner, my rock, and the love of my life. For my children, he was the man they could always count on. For his family and friends, he was a source of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. His passing has left a hole that cannot be filled — but his legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched.

Why We Need Your Help
As we come to terms with this devastating loss, we are faced with the difficult reality of planning Darrell’s funeral. Funerals are not only a time of grief, but also a heavy financial burden. Our greatest hope is to give Darrell the farewell he deserves — one that reflects the love, kindness, and joy he gave to all of us.
We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of Darrell’s funeral and burial. Any amount, no matter how small, will help bring closure to his wife, his children, and the family who loved him dearly.
By contributing, you are not only easing the financial burden during this heartbreaking time — you are also helping us honor a man who gave his whole heart to others.
If Darrell ever touched your life with his kindness, his laughter, or his love, please consider giving back in his memory. Together, we can give him the dignified farewell he deserves, and allow his family to grieve with peace and closure.
Please donate today and help us honor Darrell.
