Dark Union for Trudark

The 11-year old son of our guild master has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer and we ask Dark Union to unite in support! Trudark is not aware of this effort and we ask you to keep it a secret, until we can present him with our contribution.
Trudark has really had a streak of bad luck the last couple of years. Two years ago he lost his mother to cancer and now the same disease has struck his youngest child. What started out as knee-pain turned out to be Osteosarcoma. He had to explain to his son that he's really sick and there's a chance he might die. Now their long road towards treatment will start. His son will have to go through chemotherapy and surgery. They will attempt to remove the tumor and spare his leg if possible.
A lot of guildmembers have already reached out to him with thoughts and prayers, but we can do more! We have created this fundraiser to support our fearless leader in battling the medical costs. Treatment for bone cancer in particular can easily exceed $100,000. Chemotherapy, surgery, mobility equipment, prosthesis, physical therapy and not to mention the extensive indirect and social costs from lost work time can pile up rapidly.
Trudark has always been there for us when we needed him most, both in World of Warcraft and outside the game whenever we needed someone to talk to. He got us through a lot of rough patches and he puts a tremendous amount of time and effort in our succes.
This time, he needs our support. Every single donation will help us alleviate some of the horror he is going through. The last thing he should worry about at this time is financial stress. Instead, we hope that our contributions can enable him to put all his energy towards quality-time with his son and supporting him throughout his treatment.
