RAP, Inc. Fund

Dear RAP Family,

Washington D.C. continues to experience high rates of Substance Use.  RAP continues to absorb the high costs to running a treatment center still in the midst of a pandemic. RAP, Inc. continues to be in need of funding support.

A day of treatment costs $350.  This includes the cost of clinical and medical services; clinical and medical staff; administrative and peer support staff; food service and other operations support staff; and housing and meals.

In 2019 we served 1,300 individuals.

RAP provides:

Detox (withdrawal management) and crisis management
Medical care
Community behavioral health assessment and referral
Individual & group substance use disorder and mental health counseling
Case management and care coordination services

Founded in 1970, RAP (Regional Addiction Prevention), Inc. is a not-for-profit behavioral health program serving adults battling addiction and mental illness. Our clients deal with a broad range of struggles: addiction, homelessness, mental health issues, trauma, poverty and incarceration. On any given day, RAP serves upwards of 80 residents on campus – on top of those we serve in our outpatient programs.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to ensure we can continue to provide services. Please support RAP with your donation of $25, $50, $100 or $350.  No gift is too small (or too large!).

All donations are tax deductible.

We are appreciative of our supporters!
