Passing of our Beloved Danny lairds funeral.

For all of you that don’t know my name is Kimberley and me and my family recently set up a go fund me to raise money for the royal Brompton hospital.

Unfortunately as of yesterday 7/4/2025 our beloved family member Danny laird passed away. The royal Brompton had done everything they could until there was no longer anything they could do to preserve life. He peacefully passed away in hospital with his two brothers and two sister in laws by his side. He was a well loved man by many, he was caring, funny, and quick to help anyone that needed them. He was adored by us all. We are hoping to be able to give him the send off he deserves.

He had suffered a very large heart attack (a few in fact) which led to his heart being torn in half, he suffered with chronic kidney disease and failure as-well as liver problems, as of 12:24pm on the 7th April he passed of multiple organ failure and infection due to his heart and body being too weak.

We are now hoping to raise money towards his funeral, he has left behind my grandmother (Danny’s mother) she is a widow, who has lost her youngest son at the age of 45. His two brothers, his sister, his partner, children and family. We are all devastated, the cost of funerals is beyond our budget alongside everything else having to be arranged on the sidelines.

My grandmother unfortunately is in no position to be able to afford such costs and as a family we are also struggling with this alongside struggling with our loss.

Any donations are extremely appreciated and help us manage the costs, if we manage to reach our budget the leftover donations will still be taken to the royal Brompton hospital for everything they have done these last few weeks of his life.
