Danna Dalsimer Medical and Hospice

Danna Lou Pearson was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 29, 1958 to Norma and William Pearson. She is the mother of four boys: Daniel, Trevor, Cameron, and Tim. In January of 2006 (10 1/2 years ago), Danna was diagnosed with a very rare form cancer called Leiomyosarcoma (for info on: Leiomyosarcoma )and has bravely fought the timeless fight that cancer can bring. Danna is one of the strongest women I know (not just because she is my mother-in-law). She has undergone several forms of radiation and chemotherapy since her diagnosis.

In April of 2016, Danna was approved for a clinical trial in the state of Washington. She jumped on a plane and headed up there with high hopes…we all did. Through this entire process, Danna and her husband have remained optimistic. Despite numerous hours on the phone dealing with insurance, hospitalizations and many forms of treatment…this couple would never have the appearance of distress. Yet, behind the scenes, they have both undergone the utmost battle to cure and then ultimately contain Danna’s cancer. Unfortunately, we received word that her cancer has progressed to a point that she can no longer attempt the clinical trial. For those of you that know Danna and Chris, you know that they would do anything and everything to help someone in need. We are asking now that we can return the favor. Chris has made the decision to temporarily move to Washington during Danna’s final days and we are hoping we can get some support to cover the astronomical costs of medical bills and help with their mortgage so that Chris can focus on being their for his wife, his love, his everything.
