On February 19, 2026, our beloved Danl Hagen suffered a severe spontaneous brain bleed. He was first treated at Pioneers Memorial Hospital and was then urgently transferred to the ICU trauma center at Desert Regional Medical Center for specialized critical care.

Danl is a fun-loving, kind, and gentle giant. He has never met a stranger. If you know Danl, you know he is the first to lend a hand, the first to make you laugh, and the first to show up when someone needs help. He has spent his life giving to others without hesitation.

Now he needs us.

This medical emergency was completely unexpected. As he remains in intensive care, the road ahead is uncertain and will likely include extensive treatment, possible surgeries, rehabilitation, and time away from work. The financial burden from emergency transport, ICU care, and ongoing recovery will be significant.
