Daniel lost his home to portuguese fires

Hi my name is Stefan, and here we are raising money for our brother Daniel and his tribe who just lost their home in Portugal.

In the recent fire many people had to flee from the fires around Odemira district. More than 7000 hectars burnt down. The fire is still burning.

The money donated here goes directly to Daniel who lost everything. Many people offered help to rebuild the houses. But also requires money to buy tools and material.

What this land means to Daniel

"After my son „everything“. I am „Building“ my life in this valley since 15 years. Hard work and sweat and blood is in there.

Daniel was not living alone on this land. No he opened it for friends who needed a place.

"They had been living with me for more than one year and they are my family. A family of 8 is homeless. We lived and we will live very close together. My house was their kitchen, bathroom, shelter in the rainy winter. Happy moments."

"5 years ago I lost a lot and to find my real self I started traveling around India and half of Europe. Here in Portugal I found my tribe and a land so beautiful ♥️ So I decided to settle down and take the opportunity from Daniel to stay!

I was in love with the nature of this place and that hurts me more than losing the stuff, now we want to help nature come back there! We already put water places for the animals and started building structures for birds. This valley was a nature pearl with a bio diversity I have never seen."

What now?

Daniel has a Vision!

My idea is now that the land is „cleaned“, I can see all the structure, and I want to have a proper landscaped Land. With a lake. I have a vision

I also lived in this area last winter and seeing these photos breaks my heart but seeing the people showing up for each other also gives me trust.

Let’s come together and raise some money so the ones who lost their homes can grief and rebuild instead of worrying about money.
