On 6/3/2024 Daniel McGee, father of Dana McGee, had a tragic accident leaving him unresponsive in the ICU on life support. Unfortunately, his brain injuries were too severe for recovery. His daughter Dana has suffered more loss in her life than average person, with having lost her mother at age 10, her only brother when she was 22 and now her only support, her father, at age 25. In addition, she is supporting her grandmother, who was recently diagnosed with dementia, on top of being a full-time graduate student studying to be a licensed drug counselor. In her life, Dana takes care of everyone around her, but now is the time where she needs the help of others. Dana is left with the sole responsibility of the next steps as she plans a funeral with minimal financial support.
