Scholarship in honor of Daniel Laske-Cordero

Donation protected
On February 26th, 2021, Daniel Laske-Cordero passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 21.

Daniel was passionate about making a difference in the world. From the Bronx to Virginia, from Herndon High to VCU to Hunter, Daniel was always serving others. He was active in NJROTC during his years at Herndon High School. While at VCU, he served on the Student Government Association and worked as an RA. He was studying Political Science at Hunter while working at CityMD urgent care in the Bronx. His friends and family all know him to be brilliant, thoughtful and humble.

We have been so touched by the support of his former classmates, professors, colleagues, and friends in helping the family.

To further honor Daniel, we would like to start a scholarship in his name for students who are committed to public service. The funds raised here will go to support Herndon High students participating in NJROTC or wishing to attend VCU.

Daniel persevered at making other peoples lives better. Through this scholarship, his legacy will live on.
