On Saturday, June 11, 2016 Roger Dandridge suffered a major stroke while working at his shop. He was rushed to Sonoma Valley Hospital and was subsequently transferred to California Pacific Hospital in San Francisco. Due to the length of time that elapsed before he was found, Roger sustained major injuries. He has lost speech functions, is paralyzed, and faces months of rehabilitation. It is unlikely that he will ever walk again.
For those of you not lucky enough to know Roger personally, he is a warm, genuine, funny, and caring man. He was born in Rhodesia and served in the army in both his native country as well as in the U.S. Army after he moved to the United States. He met the love of his live, Cheryl and they have been inseparable since their marriage in 1980. They moved to Sonoma in 1986 and have been active and respected members of the community since that time.
Roger is the Sole Proprietor of his business and as such is the provider for his family. He faces months of arduous rehabilitation and he will probably never be able to work again. This account was created to help alleviate the cost and burden of the inevitable medical expenses that Roger and Cheryl will face. Whatever support you can give would be greatly appreciated during their time of need and we all thank you for your consideration.
