My Kidney Transplant Fund

I'm not sure if many of you know  but my story started quite a while ago.  Shortly after my 21st birthday I was diagnosed with lupus and by time I turned 24, kidneys were already failing and I had to go on dialysis.  Initially it was extremely challenging and difficult to cope with especially in my early 20's.  In 2001 my amazing brother Chris (in the picture) donated his kidney to extend my life.  I'm eternally grateful to him for his selflessness and unconditional love for me.  Unfortunately in 2010 that kidney failed and I'm back on dialysis and have been for the past 5 years.  I'm currently on two transplant lists  (New York and Philadelphia)  The New York list is on average 8-10 years wait and half the patients die waiting on a kidney. The Philadelphia list is 3-5 years average wait.  This brings me to why I have created this platform for donations.  I'm am currently at the top of the Philadelphia list and should be getting a call for a kidney in the near future.  When this happens, I will be expected to commute back and forth to Philadelphia 2 to 3 times a week which will be costly.   As of recent, I have stopped working and gone out on disabililty to tend to my health issues.  I hope my story moves you enough for you all to make a contribution of your choice to help assist me in reaching my goal.  I'll be glad to answer any of your questions if you have any.  I would like to thank you all!
