Dan Wasik Memorial Fund

As many of you know, Dan has been valiantly battling an aggressive lung cancer since this past summer. He has been fighting hard- going through chemo and battling these tumors with humor, a positive attitude, and every ounce of his strength. Unfortunately, he has recently been hospitalized again, where they removed 4 parts of his small intestine and discovered more tumors in the stomach area. The surgery will be followed by clinical trials and new meds. He has also tried immunotherapy which unfortunately failed. He continues the struggle to gain weight and regain his strength. Dan will be seeing a specialist at the University of Chicago on 4/24. 

Many of you have asked about what you can do to support Dan, and right now the most effective way to do that is simply through this portal. Medical costs are astronomical and anything you could give I know would be tremendously appreciated. Thank you VERY much on behalf of the Wasik family!
