Updated Story:
Yesterday the ER community lost an amazing man, Dan Marra. He lost his short battle with cancer and is at peace in his final resting place. Dan was an amazing person who was always positive, always smiling and always teaching us and our kids valuable life lessons that will be forever with us. We will all miss his conversations about sports, Carlos, the Redskins, Cleveland Indians, countless stories and stories about countless hot dogs! Live your life with dedication, love, kindness and laughter just as Dan did. We have another angel among us. Keep your eyes open, you may just see him walking down Main Street someday. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and loved him. It was our honor to know him!

I think most people who have been to East Rochester have seen or heard about the legend Dan Marra. He chose East Rochester to be his home and he chose our community to be his family. As you all know Dan has been East Rochester's biggest fan. He has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and doesn't have long to continue to live his life on this earth. Please consider donating something to show that you appreciate Dan and that he has touched your life in a positive way. Brian Touranjoe will be the beneficiary and make sure all funds get to Dan and his family.  All funds will go to his family and medical expenses
