Anyone who knew Dan Guzman should call themselves blessed to have known such a kind hearted, loving soul! He passed away from Covid 12/29/2020 to someone that always seemed invincible ! To all of who knew and loved him Dan wore many hats but most importantly his pride and joy Hands down was being a father to his spirited and sweet Alexander, Dan was and forever will remain a superhero in his eyes! They had such a sweet connection and Alexander could do no wrong in his Daddy's eyes. Dan was a big sports buff, loved to be in the action, and very much enjoyed the annual Kentucky Derby with his family. BBQ's, Carne Asada, and time spent sharing life with his favorite people is what really mattered to him. Dan was a hands on, nerf gun playing, water balloon fighting, wresting, daddy who loved Disneyland just as much as the kids! He was so tender each day he had with Alexander, covered him in kisses and hugs laughter would always erupt. He had such an endearment and respect towards his grandmas (one his abuela) who taught him how to be a true gentleman, cook and dance, among
many other talents. All I ever knew of Dan since the age of 13 was kindness, sweetness, a fantastic listener and enough laughter to carry us through 3 lifetimes!!! He spoke about the pride he had in his own Dad and that his sister Steph was his very best friend, isn't that so special!? Dan really had a way with people, making others feel special everyday. I'm sure all of you have your fantastic memories with him and the family would love to hear all about them. Funny, Endearing, even the crazy ones as so many of us grew up together.
Let's do what we can to help honor his memory, as he touched our heart-made us smile countless times! Every penny will be given directly to the family towards service expenses and anything left over will be put in a trust for Alexander. Every little bit helps. Dan would give you the shirt off his back, or his last $20. Perhaps its our turn to return the favor to our old friend who always had our back or to pay it forward. May God Continue to Heal All the Hearts that are hurting from losing such a big personality with a gigantic heart! Sleep with Angels Dan!
Funeral Arrangements are a few weeks off but truly the sooner we can all pull together and lovingly help this family it really be a Huge Blessing to them!
Help Spread the Word!
